INFJ is more common in women than men: 1.6% vs 1.3% in the older figures and 4.2% vs 1.5% in 2018. It still isn't the rarest type for women.
INFJ is more common among women than men in every US sample from the test's publisher: 4.2% of women against 1.5% of men in 2018, and 1.6% against 1.3% in the older figures. That makes INFJ women about 1 in 24.
The two samples used different versions of the questionnaire and recruited people differently, so the rise from 1.6% to 4.2% doesn't mean more women became INFJs. What holds in both is the direction: the type is more common among women, and the gap is wider in the newer data.

Online tests draw a different crowd. On 16Personalities, a separate test with its own model, INFJ makes up 7.6% of all US results. The site itself says Introverted, Intuitive and Feeling people are probably over-represented among the people who choose to take it.
Type theory describes the same preferences for both: a leading intuition about people and patterns, warmth towards others, and a liking for plans. The one difference the data shows is how many of you there are. Two habits help any INFJ who becomes the person others lean on.
